Rules I only wash my hair twice a week, roughly every 3-4 days.Post your curly haired questions or awesome curly haired do's! This subreddit is dedicated to any and all with naturally wavy, curly, coily, or kinky locks. I've been using Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Treatment Mask every fortnight, sometimes weekly. It's probably medium in thickness but there's a lot of it! I think my hair is really low porosity? It took about 6-7 hours to air dry. Today's routine was shampoo roots with Pureology Hydrate (the last of a bottle I've been trying to use up), squish to condish with Shea Moisture Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Conditioner then rinsed, added Giovanni 2chic Ultra Luxurious Leave-in Conditioner and then Giovanni 2chic Frizz Be Gone Taming Cream in same squish to condish way, squished with microfibre towel to remove excess water, plopped in cotton t-shirt for about 10-15 minutes then allowed to air dry and tried really hard not to touch it all day. if anyone has any pointers on how to tackle this I'd love to hear it. ![]() I still have a long way to go, but this is the most wave definition I think I've ever had! Next project is getting rid of the frizz. ![]()
